A free business education forum, Resources for Business Expansion, is scheduled on October 22 for any Acadiana-area business who would like to learn about resources and programs that may benefit the growth of their company— whether it is programs for small business and funding resources or workforce training and tax credits for business expansion projects. There will be resources and programs presented that can benefit businesses at all stages.

Business owners, operators, and/or managers of Acadiana-area businesses, of all sizes, will benefit by attending this business education forum, hosted by Lafayette Economic Development Authority (LEDA), Louisiana Economic Development (LED), Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC), One Acadiana (1A), and Small Business Development Center (SBDC).  The information presented at the event can also benefit accountants, attorneys, or bankers, who consult with businesses about their growth and expansion plans.

The interactive panel discussion will include information about SEBD program, Small Business Loan Guarantee Program, Enterprise Zone or Quality Job Programs, Work Opportunity Tax Credit, Incumbent Worker Training Program, and more.
